Delivery is carried out using transport selected depending on the product form and hazard class of the substance. All required permits and documentation, including safety and compliance certificates, are mandatory.

Features of Agrochemical Transportation

Transportation of hazardous chemical substances is strictly regulated by international ADR standards. The main challenge is preventing leaks, evaporation, and chemical reactions during transit. Pesticides are sensitive to temperature, moisture, and mechanical impact, therefore they require airtight packaging and proper storage conditions. Liquid agrochemicals may have high corrosive activity, so special tanks made of resistant materials or with protective internal coating are used for their transport. Dry forms require protection from moisture, as they can lose their properties and become caked when exposed to water.

During international transportation, multimodal delivery schemes are used. From European ports, agrochemicals may be transported by sea in IMO containers and then reloaded onto road transport.
