How do these tanks differ from regular ones?

Such tanks have all the advantages of isothermal tanks (they can maintain the temperature during transportation due to the use of thermal insulation materials in their design), and also have the additional option of heating the cargo. 

Steam sources are located in the internal circuit of the tank. Heated steam is supplied from steam generating units and universal air heaters.

The presence of a steam jacket in a tank truck is one of the most important conditions for fast and high-quality unloading of the most viscous types of liquid cargo.

If the cargo being transported tends to become thicker as the temperature drops, then heating with steam helps to unload the thickened liquid.

Tanks with autonomous heating allow you to maintain the transportation temperature at a given level due to a special autonomous device. It is not connected to the car engine and continues to work even in the event of serious malfunctions along the way. A coolant heated to the required temperature circulates through a closed circuit on the surface of the tank. Heating occurs due to an autonomous heat generator, which is capable of operating for a long period of time. The design of the tank eliminates direct contact between the coolant and the transported liquid cargo.
