This new facility will be used for receiving, storing and placing the meal in containers. A new enclosed warehouse is to be built at the Mostyska container terminal in Lviv region to handle the above operations. This expansion is part of the development of the 4 Borders agrotour, says Alexander Svetiukha, Commercial Director of the terminal.

"Demand for meal in Europe is always high, so this business line promises to be profitable. For example, in the Western market, there is a demand for small batches of 300 to 500 tonnes, which is ideal for containerised shipments. Such consignments are usually purchased by India or Indonesia, explains Alexander Svetyukha.

Last year, the terminal handled about 70,000 TEUs. Up to 3,000 containers can be stored on the territory at a time.
