Buyers of electric trucks in Poland will receive subsidies
The Polish Environmental Protection Fund has introduced a new program that provides subsidies of up to 750 thousand zlotys for the purchase of each electric truck. In total, it is planned to spend up to 1 billion zlotys on this.
Experts believe that such subsidies will help stimulate the development of production and use of zero-emission commercial vehicles in transport logistics. The cost of electric vehicles remains high, but only with the help of government subsidies do they become more competitive. In addition, the program envisages amending the country's legislation in parallel with the provision of significant subsidies.
Earlier, another program called "My Electrician" was also launched, which provides for the allocation of 800 million zlotys over the period 2024-2028 for the introduction of renewable energy technologies. Thanks to these subsidies, large enterprises will be able to pay up to 30% of the cost of electric vehicles, medium-sized businesses - up to 50%, and small businesses - up to 60%, including when concluding leasing agreements.
