When planning the shipment, we consider the type of goods, weight, volume, Incoterms conditions and required delivery time. This allows us to select a commercially reasonable route and identify the main logistics costs before the cargo is dispatched.
To request a freight quotation from Vietnam, provide the cargo description, weight, volume, pickup location and delivery address in Ukraine. A Save Pro Solutions manager will select a suitable route and prepare a commercial offer.
We start with an analysis of your task: cargo characteristics, delivery times, special transportation conditions. At this stage, we determine the type of container required: standard (GP), high (HC), refrigerated (RF) or specialized.
We clarify the details: the planned port of departure in Vietnam, the port of destination, the need for additional services — insurance, customs clearance, delivery to the final recipient. Based on the results of the analysis, we formulate a commercial proposal indicating the timing and cost.
After confirming the order, we reserve a place on the vessel and container equipment. Sea container transportation to Vietnam is planned in advance — 2-3 weeks before the expected shipping date. This ensures that the right type of container is available and space is available on the selected vessel.
At the same time, we are preparing a package of documents for export/import for container transportation: commercial invoices, packing lists, certificates of origin, declarations of dangerous goods (if applicable). We provide advice on filling out documentation and check them for compliance with the requirements of Vietnam and Ukrainian customs.
Our representative in Vietnam controls the delivery of the container for loading and checks its technical condition. For valuable, fragile or complex cargo, we organize professional packaging and securing in a container.
After loading, we carry out a sealing inspection and photographic recording of the condition of the cargo and container. We issue a sea bill of lading (Bill of Lading) — the main document of sea transportation, which serves as proof of acceptance of the cargo by the carrier.
Delivery of containers with forwarding takes from 21 to 35 days, depending on the route and the selected sea line. Throughout the journey, we track the location of the vessel and receive updates on the predicted arrival date.
In the event of force majeure (weather conditions, strikes at ports, technical problems on the ship), we immediately inform the client and offer alternative solutions to minimize delays.
Upon the arrival of a container with large cargo or any other cargo at the port of destination, we formalize the arrival, obtain permission for unloading, and organize customs clearance. Our customs brokers prepare the declaration, carry out electronic declaration, and ensure payment of customs duties.
After the goods are released, we will organize the delivery of containers from Vietnam to the recipient's warehouse by road. We control the return of an empty container to the port on time to avoid fees for container equipment downtime (demurrage).
Upon completion of the transportation, we provide a full report on the work performed, including actual deadlines, expenses incurred, difficulties encountered and ways to solve them. For regular customers, we provide transportation analytics, offer optimization of logistics processes and cost reduction.
