What infrastructure projects in Ukraine are being partially modernised with EU funds?

The Steering Committee of the CEF - Connecting Europe Facilities program, which co-finances infrastructure projects with EU funds to improve transport connectivity and logistics, met.
A specific detail of CEF is the development and submission of joint project applications with neighbouring countries. Therefore, the meeting synchronised joint projects with Romania, Moldova, Slovakia, Hungary and Poland to prepare applications for 2024.
"From our side, several projects were presented for the development of border crossing points, road and railway connections. First of all, we are talking about those projects that concern the TEN-T network, for example, the development of the border crossing point "Jagodin - Dorogusk", in particular, the construction of another bridge. We will also prioritise the development of the border crossing point "Diakovo - Halmeu" and the construction of "Bila Tserkva - Sighetu Marmatii" and "Bila Krynitsa - Klimeutz". Much attention was paid to the railway communication, in particular, to the electrification of sections, reconstruction of tracks and expansion of the railway network" - Serghei Derkach
According to him, the key issue is financing, because according to the terms of the program, only 50% of the works are covered by the European Union, while the remaining half should be financed by other sources.
