Evaluate shelf life, allowable transportation period. Analyze the manufacturer's specifications for storage, transportation of products. Transportation preparation

We allocate trucks taking into account the type of feed: for pelleted feed - covered trucks with protection from moisture, for liquid feed - specialized tanks. We check the cleanliness of the cargo space, absence of foreign odors, traces of previous transportation. We control the technical condition of the vehicle, tightness of the body. If necessary, we use temperature-controlled transport for transportation of temperature-sensitive additives, probiotics. Regulations for the transportation of animal feed

Transportation of dry fodder is subject to strict regulations to ensure the safety of products. The main condition is to maintain optimal humidity in the cargo compartment: not more than 60% for most compound feeds. At higher humidity there is a risk of mold fungi development, release of mycotoxins dangerous for animals. We protect cargo from atmospheric precipitation, using airtight vans, additional shelter.

An important point is the temperature regime. For most dry feeds the range is from +5°C to +25°C.

At negative temperatures, moisture in the feed can crystallize, destroying the structure of the granules.
At high temperatures, oxidative processes accelerate, reducing nutritional value.

We select the type of transport taking into account the season and climatic conditions of the region of transportation.

When forwarding fodder, we pay special attention to preventing contamination: contamination by foreign substances, mixing with the remains of previous cargoes. Cargo space is sanitized before each loading. For transportation of agricultural products for fodder we use only vehicles that have not been previously involved in the transportation of agrochemicals, petroleum products, other substances with a strong odor.

How the price for transportation of dry fodder is formed

The cost of services is determined by several main factors.

The first is the volume of the batch, which affects the choice of the type of transportation and the number of trips. We choose the optimal solution: from low-tonnage vans for small deliveries to road trains with trailers for large shipments. When transporting mixed fodder in bulk, we take into account the density of the product, which affects the actual load of the vehicle.
A significant component of the price is the route of transportation. We take into account the distance, the quality of road surface, the presence of weight and dimensional restrictions. In the case of international transportation of fodder, customs clearance costs and veterinary permits are added. For the logistics of prepackaged cargoes it is important to calculate the load of transportation correctly, taking into account the type of packaging, method of stacking.
In addition, special transportation conditions affect the cost: the need to maintain a certain temperature regime, the use of specialized transport for certain types of feed additives.
