New customs terminal opened in Zakarpattia region on the border with Hungary

The new customs terminal near the Tisa post at the Hungarian border in Zakarpattia can handle up to 250-300 vehicles at one time, the press service of the Zakarpattia Customs Office reports.

In order to create appropriate conditions for customs clearance of goods by foreign economic operators, the Zakarpattia Customs, with the support of the State Customs Service of Ukraine and with the approval of the Ministry of Finance of Ukraine, has established a new arrival point on the territory of the Tisa service zone, the statement said.

The report also notes that the convenient location of the terminal at the beginning of the Chop-Kyiv international highway (200 metres from the Chop-Zahony border crossing point) creates additional opportunities for foreign trade operators to streamline and improve logistics routes after customs clearance.
